
Olivier Furdelle is the co-founder and Managing Director of TERANGA CAPITAL since 2016, the first impact investment fund dedicated to SMEs and start-ups in Senegal and The Gambia. He was previously an independent consultant specialised in private equity and financing of SMEs and start-up in Africa and has led numerous investment transactions in various sub-Saharan African countries since 2009. Prior to that, he was the Business Development & Planning Vice President at Belgacom (now Proximus), Belgium's leading telecom and ICT company, where he led M&A and venture capital transactions. Prior to that he co-founded an e-learning start-up and was also a consultant at Accenture and KPMG. Olivier holds a Master's degree in Management Engineering from Solvay Business School (Belgium) and has completed an executive leadership course at INSEAD (France). Olivier is passionate about entrepreneurship and investment in Africa and is driven by the ambition to accompany the African champions of today and tomorrow.
